I loved Goulet in "Red Ships of Spain."

He made me pass Diet Coke through my nose.

 

Well, back when Goulet did that commercial (to the tune of "Green Acres"), they had Tim Duncan (Goulet: "That kid's name ain't just a noun; it's a verb. A baaaaaaad verb." So cheesy).

 

thank goodness I've somehow managed to miss seeing these commercials.

 

I think it says something that a decade later people can still sing those songs from memory. I think it also says something that a decade later Goulet seems to be wearing the same outfit in the Emerald Nuts commerical.

 

Wow...D_B digs something old up and people are cheering. A new day has dawned!
