Robert Allenby misses the cut in Hawaii; then . . .

I have no idea what the truth is although there are holes in his story. I will say this: Allenby has a rep for being a bit of a hothead and fair-to-middlin' jerk. Take that for what you will.

 

This is exactly what I think. Story just isn't adding up.

 

John Daly thinks he is an amateur.

 

I heard he smarted off to Bob Barker.

 

Wonder if he happened to be wearing a tiki idol necklace.

Here's my take after a few days: he got into it with someone at the bar. Invitations were extended to continue the discussion outside. Fun ensued.
Or, he was blind drunk and hit his head on the sidewalk or a rock.

 

I'm going with robbed by a hooker.

 

This is what it's looking like to me. From the woman who found him's comments, it seems like the "robbery" aspect came after he was found and some locals were trying to take advantage of the drunk guy's state, so she got him out of there. Sounds to me like he fell on his face, was found a mess and the thugs tried to relieve him of some money. Someone else pointed out to me within minutes of this story popping up last weekend that it is odd that he took a selfie after saying his wallet, phone and everything else was taken. Did he have a spare phone? Or borrow a friend's?

 

Maybe he had a burner, from the trunk of his car.

 

Ummmm ... Sounds about the way I envisioned it.
