I'll be the first to say it: Something does not ring right about that lawsuit.

 

Wow. I don't recall ever hearing anything about HIV or AIDS in relation to Alomar. Was this well-known and I just missed it?

 

Wow. I'm not really sure how to respond either. I hope she continues to text negative, and that if he does have AIDS they caught it time for the combination therapies to work.

 

If so, Doc, I'm just as much out of the loop.

Yeah, I was hesitant to post it because it gives me the shakes, but the story is out there and will be all over the place soon.
It buries the lead about why she is suing, however.

(And for what it's worth, I always had a soft spot for Alomar when he was with the Mets. He treated me well, though I know not everyone had similar experiences.)
