    That billboard was put up by the family of former Titans pitcher Kirk Saarloos. Part of it reads "Only 1,589 miles to Omaha..." That's why they run out and touch it after every Super Regional victory.

    That's bizarre, and very immature of the NCAA. That said, I covered a Super Regional this weekend and didn't see any information on this subject. Weird...
