Best known as the prosecutor in the Manson family murder cases, Vince Bugliosi has passed away at age 80.

This was a bit strange for me, as I had just finished re-reading Helter Skelter when I saw the news. Out of all of the defendants that were given the death penalty, only Susan Atkins didn't outlive him.

Hell, Tex Watson has fathered half a dozen kids from prison.

Helter Skelter is a helluva read. As I recall, he also wrote well-received books on the Kennedy assassination and the O.J. Simpson case.

Would have just LOVED to have seen him prosecute Simpson.

His JFK assassination book was huge, and loaded with BS. Enjoyed his HS book, horrifying. Disappointed in the JFK one.
