    This is a shame. I had hoped he was getting better, though I hadn't heard much lately. Even though he was away from the Reds all last season and had been in Houston for much of his treatment, he came back to Cincinnati for a few games late in the season and they had recently reassigned him to the minor-league rehab job so he could be close to home in Sarasota.
