    Real-life risk-takers like Havel or even the fictional Victor Laszlo are much more heroic and newsworthy than any quarterback or coach or musical artist.

    I was discussing the Velvet Revolution just the other day with a professor friend of mine. Havel never won a Nobel Peace Prize, but should have.
