    Oh, he was a character. The fact that "Hot Dog" came out the year he won the Olympics means I tend to insert him into that movie. I don't think that's too far off from his real life.

    Not sure you can be a legend with one Olympic medal.

    Nonetheless, RIP.

    E60 did a story on him a year or so ago.

    He was so messed up. He tried a comeback a decade or so after his gold medal win. Wiped out BADLY. Brain damage, etc.

    During his comeback, had a couple of strokes (he kept partying, etc). He was all but a vegetable when Jeremy Schapp interviewed him.

    Not any way to live.
