Good guy and had a brain and talent hard to match in TV.

RIP but hopefully he has taken One Shining Moment with him to his grave.

Uh, no. One Shining Moment is some of the best three minutes of TV each year.

Boom's just jealous he didn't come up with the song.

  5. The song really does suck, though.

It's become a cliche. Time to join the Up with People gang in the cheesy sports gimmick hall of fame

I can't watch that stuff. By then I've seen the best moments of the Tournament a thousand times already; I don't need a thousand and one.

It's really just a self pat on the back to CBS who when they took over the whole gig ruined what was a much better event when ESPN showed early games.

Jim Nantz is really going to get weepy when they run it this year.

    Or Nantz.

Yes him too. I was referring to the former FB for the Patriots. He loves One shining moment.

    Sappy, saccharine, simpy, wimpy, dopey.

There are a thousand rock songs which would be better, but CBS would have to pay royalties to use those.

BTW, I'm sure Towey was a nice guy and did his job well. Just had enough of the song.

Sorry, just one of my Internet pet peeves. I cannot grasp when someone is ripping the crap out of someone that they have no idea how to spell their name. Hard for me to take them seriously.
Also, you're vs your and adding 's when it is not needed.

(sorry, irrelevant and pointless grammar rant)
