Thanks, Amy, for reminding us of Craig and for everything you bring to this crazy message-board world. As sick as we all are about the reason you came to us, we're really glad you're here.

My thoughts are with you, Amy, and the others who knew Craig.

Although I did get a pit in my stomach just now when I saw the beginning of this thread title as the last post on the main page. I thought we had lost another one for a few seconds.

Same feelings here, Amy. Remembering a really good man today.

Thinking of you, Amy, and all of Craig's family today. And, yes, this thread is a reminder of the good things of this place.

Good thing I stumbled in today. The place misses South Framingham more every day. The board's thoughts are with you, Amy.

This is likely the last time I'll revive this thread. So many of the posters who knew Craig or Stanke or SF_Express are no longer around.

For all of us, long-time posters and those of us who, like me, joined after May 29, 2012, this thread is a reminder of how good sj and its members could be.

Another thank you for your kindness three years ago, for giving Craig's family and me this thread, and especially for those of you who are now my friends IRL.

(I know this isn't the 29th, but it is this morning, the morning of the Tuesday after Memorial Day, that Craig died.)

Craig was always the voice of reason on the board. He knew how much I respected him and when I got out of hand at times, he'd send me a PM and say, "C'mon man" and immediately, I would know I fucked up.

He was the first person on the board who I revealed my true identity to, which is saying a lot since I guarded that so closely while I was still in the business.

If anything good came out of this horrific tragedy, it's that it brought Amy to the board.

    RIP Craig.

Yes. One of the nicest things about this place is both Craig's and spnited's posts are still here and we call call on their wisdom. Not that they'll know what to tell us when we get, say, the umpteenth call on why there was no JV tennis agate, but, we can study from what we see.
