    If this one stays up, please fix the misspellings of Tim's name and Libya in the original post.

    Absolutely tragic.

    His last tweet gave me chills when I saw others re-tweeting it after hearing he had been killed:

    Reminds me of the tweets that Declan Sullivan posted shortly before he was killed.

    Losing Hetherington and Hondros has been a terrible blow to the pj community. Such bravery, and such dedication being lost has diminished us all.

    I'd seen this thread and it vaguely rang a bell but the connection didn't resonate until I was listening to The Bob Edwards Show on NPR today and a clip was played from a past interview with Hetherington.
    Damn, what a shame.
    I'd never heard of "Restrepo" until the film makers appeared on NPR last year, then I saw the movie and was caught up in the reality of the footage.
    Now this.
    RIP, Tim Hetherington
