My grandmother lived on Tab and Salems and had the voice to prove it.

Diet 7-up has got to be one of the most vile drinks I've tasted. I can't even describe it except it tasted like burning.

Never drank a Tab. The continual use of Fresca in The Boys kind of tickled me, though.

RC reminds me of all those little local sodas they sell at gas stations that still have signs for Pure, Sinclair, and Lyon.

Accidentally erased Batman's quote about the south, Moon Pies, and RC. I wish, I really do. And you will have to pry my Howard Finster Moon Pie T-shirt from my cold, dead hands.

BTW, this is the best diet drink ever!

If I had TAB I don't remember it. I feel like it was off the market around here by the early 1990s at the latest after the stuff about carcinogens. Diabetics are in the family so I was raised on diet pop. Coke Zero is about the only one now that won't make my stomach do summersaults.

I remember a soda thread on here years ago where somehow we got on the topic of Apple Slice, and it caused Bubbler to return for a couple posts.

My mother's best friend at our overseas stop was rarely seen without a Tab in hand off the field. Good shortstop, pretty good bat, excellent field awareness.

Whoa. Don't go there. RC Cola is a treasure.

I haven't seen an RC Cola anywhere in years. I chalk that up to being in the northeast.

That's "R-Ah C" if you're in the deep South. And a Moon Pie.

That was a staple get at the general store where my mother and brothers grew up. Run by a distant relative, a nice, really decent man.

I can't think of Tab without thinking of this 1970's pop:
