Man - even their "scandals" turn out to be not much.

One title in 1959? They're the Michigan of college baseball.

Big personality. On TV a lot. Put up a "bounty" to anyone who could refute the Swift Boaters claims against Kerry in 2004 - when Kerry's crew came forward, he welched on the bounty and parsed his original claim. He was an outsider who challenged Big Oil in the '80s. Then did it again with natural gas. And he gave half a billion to OSU's athletic department.

I'd always heard Gundy held onto his job because T Boone liked him. Guess we'll find out soon enough.

Fuck you talking about? Enter Sandman! Lunchpail! Beamer Ball! Bud Foster!

As much as I bust balls, Tech at least made a national title game with Vick in '99.

I have no idea what any of that means :)

My nephew went to VA Tech and his dog's name is Beamer. Good dog. Middling program.

What should we expect out of Oklahoma State? It’s the secondary public brand in a state with virtually no corporate presence, a typically Trumpist contempt for education etc. I have always been amazed that it could have a good golf program.

No corporate presence — except for all the fracking companies polluting the water and causing earthquakes all over the state.
