Wow. Just looked at cnn.com and it only had that his condition had diminished again. Thanks for posting this SC.

With God as my witness, I thought dictators could fly.

No. There's a special place in Hell for that toolbag.

He's keeping it warm (heh, heh) for Castro when he finally croaks.

Ferdinand Marcos needed another colleague with whom he could compare notes.

I know it's SportsJournalists.com etiquette, but I'm not sure "RIP" needed to preface this obit in the sandbox.

The Dictator's Hold-'em table in Hell just welcomed another player.

I was going to say, "I guess hell needed an evil, murderous dictator," but I don't like to speak ill of the dead.

Is it just me, or is the lone quote in that AP story both extraneous and yet funny in its simplicity at the same time?

For me, depends on who died.

Point taken. Probably takes up too many characters anyway, SC. ;)

However, there are some folks for whom RIP is seriously tame. And this murderous bastard would be one of those folks.

Sometime, within the past 48 hours, I heard a story on the BBC that he was doing much better. They polled people on the streets of Jakarta - some thought it was because of an amulet he supposedly carried for years, some thought it was better doctors...

    Guess they were wrong.
