    How sad.

Steve McNair was one of my all-time favorite players. When I was younger I had Titans stuff all over my room.

Where does everyone rank him among the best mobile quarterbacks?

    Cunningham, McNabb, McNair?

Just what I was thinking. If not his wife then who? The two stories, found dead in bed, then behind a market, a bit of a discrepancy, no?

That being said OMG! I saw the crawl in the WWL during the rugby match and needless to say I am now checking it out online.

WTF is with Fox Sports Radio? Not a word on McNair and they're interviewing the lead singer from Air Supply.

I know this isn't the point of his thread, but McNair and Eddie George aren't even in the top 10 when it comes to most popular Oilers:
Campbell, Moon, Bethea, Pastorini, Kenny Burrough, Ray Childress, Mike Munchak, Bruce Matthews, Lamar Lathon, Ernest Givens, Haywood Jeffires were all more popular Oilers. And I don't even know about guys in 1960s and 1970s.
McNair and George left their mark on Titans, not Oilers.

    Jesus.

As a Steelers fanboi I hated the guy in his Titans days, but you couldn't help but respect him.

What a tough, clutch, talented player.

    RIP.

Along a similar line of thinking here:
What is the obligation of game broadcasters to break in with this news? I'm flipping back and forth between a couple of baseball games, and there hasn't been one word about it. I know this isn't a national tragedy, so I'm not expecting the networks to cut in from their newsrooms, but he was a fairly prominent sports figure. Doesn't Tim McCarver have to stop calling the game at some point and tell the viewers about this?

OMG. That's all I can say. As a lifelong Houstonian, McNair was appreciated as an Oiler and many people absolutely still rooted for him as a Titan.

They usually pitch it back to the studio between innings for stuff like this.
