    My friends and I used to tribute musicians who died by listening to their music throughout the evening. John Denver. Michael Hutchence. Wilson Pickett.

    This is the first time we'd tribute a device.

    RIP to one of the very few who changed the world.

    I wish it had happened some other way, but in a way it's poetic justice that a true difference maker in the world steals Sarah Palin's headline this evening.
