This is big news here in Des Moines right now. Someone posted the news on Facebook, and then the local media picked it up quickly around 3 pm CDT today.

The reaction and the fallout will be big by the time the 10 pm news tonight.

I talked to someone I know who runs a boutique shop near downtown. She said Gray was a classy and nice guy who would stop by her shop to gab. Everyone here in Des Moines is in a state of shock, because Silpknot is rooted, raised, and continue to live here.

FYI, for anyone who's interested, Lazer 103.3 (local station) has re-done their web page so fans can post tributes.

The biggest death in Iowa since the one at Cedar Lake Newton.

Eh? Newton? You must be referring to Clear Lake, February 3, 1959.
