    Indeed.

    Good musician. RIP.

For some reason, I had always thought he was British or Australian.

You were probably thinking of Judy Davis.

So how much do you feel, Dools?

I read the title and was thinking, "Wasn't he dead already?" Then I looked it up and it was Paul Young (Mike & The Mechanics) I was thinking of.

Cool Night, I Go Crazy and '65 Love Affair, three songs that take me back to high school and college.

RIP Mr. Davis. Your music touched a lot of lives.

That's not the blue-eyed-soul Paul Young of "Love of the Common People," "I'm Gonna Burn Your Playhouse Down," and "Everytime You Go Away," is it?

No, but I might have blurred the two at some point in time. :-X

I probably mixed Cliff Richard ("We Don't Talk Anymore") in there with the two of them, too.

No ... two different people. Easy to confuse, though, given that their styles aren't that different.

The Paul Young you're talking about I know from "Everytime You Go Away." The other one was known for doing vocals for Mike + The Mechanics along with Paul Carrack.

Back on topic, for some reason, I usually get Paul Davis confused with Mac Davis. I know ... I dunno why, either.
