I am laughing so hard thinking that one man was responsible for those trio of songs.

I don't even have to look it up:

"If you believe in forever, then life is just a one night stand.
If there's a rock and roll heaven, then you know they have a helluva band."

According to Wikipedia, O'Day also gifted us with the immortal "Started Out Dancing, Ended Up Making Love," which somehow stalled at No. 73 on the charts.

    Fantastic piece.

This guy was apparently all kinds of awesome.

My god, the lyrics to Angie Baby are creepy -- a deranged girl who jacks off a lot to the radio, and who is able to magically disappear a boy who comes in to rape her. Sing along, everybody!

Even weirder than "Angie Baby" is the animated video of it made for the Sonny and Cher show. This nightmare was fucking FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT in the 1970s, including the rockin' cock about 20 seconds in.

Strange factoid: All three of O'Day's big hits were about imaginary stories.
