    The head of Big Picture Studios in Silent Movie, an underrated classic. The scene where they play pong with the EKG monitor is hysterical.

    That's a pretty good "comedy tree" right there ...

    Sometime in the mid-90's I was eating dinner in a pizza shop and they had Larry King Live on their TV. Sid Caesar was one of the guests talking about surviving a heart attack.
    There was an old guy in the corner of the shop, muttering all sorts of profanity to himself. When Larry King introduced Sid Caesar, the old guy yelled "Sid Caesar! That motherfucker!"
    That's my Sid Caesar story.
