RIP Scott LeDoux

    He challenged Larry Holmes for the heavyweight title. He also knocked Howard Cosell's hairpiece off his head after he was on the wrong end of a bogus decision.

    Good fighter, and yes, he had a pro wrestling connection too. He had a prominent role in the mid-to-late 80s in the AWA as a guest enforcing referee and with an excellent program with Larry Zbyzsko.

    A really good guy. Always a straight shooter, returned calls promptly and always shared good stories and insights. Scott LeDoux was also excellent as a substitute color commentator on ESPN2 for many years (some preferred him over Teddy Atlas). RIP to a real gladiator and good guy. Scott LeDoux.
