RIP Scott Kaiser

  1. Very sad news from the Houston area. :'(

Mr. Kaiser was a sportswriter for the Chronicle and later an educator.

My condolences to the family. Wow. Seems like we've had an unusual number of these type of threads lately, unfortunately.

I can't express the shock I felt when I saw this story. During my sports editor days I covered games and work with Scott on a few occasions. So so sad.

Scott was an incredibly great man, and a brilliant writer.

He was great around Houston's youth and clearly had an impact.

    He will be missed.
