RIP Ryan Dunn (from Jackass)

Yeah, those guys all make really good money. Bam, with his sponsorship deals with skateboard companies along with movie and TV show money, is a multi-millionaire easily.

Those guys also go around the world performing skits at college campuses and stuff like that.

Dunn wouldn't have made Bam money but I have no doubt that he had plenty in the bank.

 

By the way, I remember listening to the director commentary of the original Jackass movie. When Dunn wrecks the golf cart and almost kills Johnny Knoxville, the guys were laughing on the commentary about how Ryan Dunn is the worst driver in the world.

Not so funny now.

 

initially thought, 'holy crap, freddie prinze jr. died?!' wasn't 'ryan dunn' the character he played in 'summer catch, that film about summer ball in the cape cod league? hard to forget how smokin' jessica biel was in this one...

never mind. back to the show... i've got WAAAAAY too much worthless info jammed into my 54-year-old skull...

p.s. -- imd'd, for those dying to know the answer: sure 'nuf, prinze played 'ryan DUNNE,' the local southpaw in search of mental toughness to go with his talented left arm... like i said, worthless info... for anyone who hasn't seen it i'm sure it'll be back in hbo's rotation shortly. perfect summer fare.

Just for the Biel pool scene...

 

Being a huge fan of the jackass series and the subsequent movies/series spinoffs from Dickhouse productions (including Rob and Big, Fantasy Factory, Viva la Bam etc.) the news is tough.

However, Dunn was known to be a big motor/gear head. I believe in some of the specials MTV's done with Bam, it was reported during a prank that Dunn had his license suspended a few times for speeding etc.

Dude was funny. He hosted a new show on g4 and also had a run on a revenge prank show on MTV for about two seasons or so.
