A very underrated (almost forgotten) comedian. Some of his stuff would make Redd Foxx blush.

RIP to the man who could make the phrase "YOU RAT SOUP EATIN" MUTHAFUCKA!" one of the funniest lines in the history of B-movie (actually C or D) American cinema.

Also check out his comedy album, "This Ain't No White Christmas" sometime.

 

Dolemite was truly a blaxpoitation classic, as was Human Tornado.

I have both Dolemite and Human Tornado on DVD (I love that genre of film). It's never mentioned in the same breath as, say, The Mack or Truck Turner, but it's still some good stuff. Not good in the first-date-movie sense, but nevertheless ...
