For once the random Twitter death trend had merit.

Found dead in a swimming pool. He was 47.

I can't say I'm shocked, he was still struggling with substance abuse. I think he was on Dr. Drew's Celebrity Rehab show not to far back.

He was. He wanted to build a halfway house for addicts in the hood and Drew helped him.

Definitely his non battle with LAPD on 3/3/91 was the ass kicking of the year.

The dot-dot-dot-dot in the thread headline signifies a huge "But" is forthcoming.

    I can't believe he was only 47.

That came up in discussion at work, I said he looked 47 when the riots happened and that was 20 years ago.

No notes. No prepared statement. Really hard not to feel for the guy, who I'm sure wishes none of it happened.

I would have guessed 60s without question.
