    She was a golf analyst for ABC for 16 years and — I never would have guessed this — the first female co-anchor on ESPN's Sports Center. She was an excellent player as well; played in about a dozen USGA championships. She told great stories about learning the game on a wind-whipped par 3 course in West Palm Beach, where she watched the great Mickey Wright. Very nice lady. RIP.
