Tough start to 2007 for the Georgia Aquarium. First, Gasper the Beluga Whale was euthanized on Jan. 2 and now Ralph died unexpectedly on Thursday night.

My family and I have been members at the Aquarium since it opened, and my two young sons just love it. They will be devastated when I break the news to them in the morning, especially considering they are both snuggled in bed with their stuffed whale sharks as we speak.

Shouldn't a stuffed whale shark be mounted on the wall or something?
