    She was front and center when, yes, seeing a female on a football pregame show was still jarring to many.

    Ms. George opened a lot of doors.

    I couldn't tell you one thing about NBC's pregame shows in that era.

    The NFL Today was light years ahead of NBC's pregame show. Appointment television at 9:30 a.m. every Sunday in the fall.

    CBS has never found the groove since it got the NFL back.

    I believe they should rely on this kind of nostalgia. The AFC package is much weaker now that Brady is in the NFC.
