    Ex-Motorhead Drummer Phil 'Philthy Animal' Taylor Dies

    Drummer for the 'classic' lineup of Motorhead dies at 61. He provided some great backbeat to Lemmy's guttural vocals and the licks of Fast Eddie Clarke and his successors.

    One of the greats who apparently lived up to his nickname. Never saw Fast Eddie with Motorhead but Taylor was on tubs both times I saw them. RIP
