He got to heaven's gate, looked at St. Peter and said. ... I'm a believer.

    RIP.

I'm a child of the 60s, which meant their show ran on Monday nights at 7:30 on NBC, just before I Dream Of Jeannie.

He was my favorite Monkee, but I might have to talk my sister off a ledge.

The mother of group member Michael Nesmith invented liquid white out. She sold out in 1979 for $47 million dollars and royalties on every bottle sold until the year 2000. Micheal was an only child and inherited half the fortune.

FACT CHECK: Monkee Mike Nesmith and Liquid Paper

Howard Cosell screwed up on a MNF telecast many years ago and claimed that the Packers' Eric Torkelson was the brother of Peter Tork.

By odd coincidence Eric went to UConn, and Peter's family lived in Connecticut, and Peter's dad taught at UConn.

Same with me. When we first got a Fox affiliate, Monkees reruns were on constantly.
