    I loved watching Columbo reruns. He had a funny way about him, not just in the characters he played but in his mannerisms.

    I enjoyed watching him as a manager of a women's wrestling tag team in "All the Marbles"

    I think my favourite was his performance as the Grandfather in "The Princess Bride". Lovely, lovely performance - easy,unforced and graceful.

    And don't forget the grandpa in The Princess Bride. The scenes with him and Fred Savage are priceless.

  8. Loved it when he would start to leave a suspect, then duck back and ask one more question. Perfected the crazy like a fox routine. He'll be missed.

    Was also great as the mob boss in "Made," with Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn.
