    Ever notice how homely the two female leads are (Billie and the hit-woman that Hooker winds up with)? I think the producers did that intentionally because they didn't want to take any of the shine off the two golden boy male leads ...

    Speaking of politics, I'm watching and American Experience 2-hour doc on Nixon. It's really fascinating. I'm thinking Nixon has more to do with the current DNA of today's GOP (both good and bad) than Reagan. Anyway, thy pan down a list of Nixon's enemies list and who is there but Paul Newman. Dude was a bad ass.
