The 50 is an underrated bill.

They're going almost as fast as Lynyrd Skynyrd did.

"Anderson died Thursday at her home in Beaverton, Oregon, according to her daughter, Onateska Ladybug Sherwood."

    Mom was the genuine hippie.

The other side of that was that she was the lead singer on their first album. She then toured with the band, plus her baby and husband, and realized that it wouldn't work. She resigned from the band but stayed with them through the end of the tour. They then held auditions and Grace Slick replaced her.

Hippie or not, I give her credit for not leaving the band in the lurch and for walking away from Rock 'n Roll to raise her kid. Many people would have put their career first.
