If celebrity deaths happen in threes I suspect Terry Jones would get a kick out of going out with Nancy Drew and Mr. Peanut.

But fear not, there will likely be several backstory books issued, just like in Star Wars.

Just a note that Beverly Cleary, who brought us Henry Huggins, Ralph S. Mouse and Ramona, is still alive at 103.

I didn’t like Hardy Boys as a kid (too white red) so I read Nancy Drew instead.

Favorite series was Alfred Hitchcock and Three Investigators

I never read any of them as a kid, but when my oldest was learning to read, we read the Hardy Boys together.

Both of us thought it was dumb that at the end of nearly every book, the bad guys would confess and basically tell the Hardys everything that would incriminate them. I commented to my son that these guys should have shut up and told the Hardy’s that they would only talk to their lawyers.
