    I admit she was a "local girl," since she lived in my town...but she's multiplatinum in America, so if she was simply a niche entertainer, it was a huge niche.

    The obituary that I read said that Jenni was a life long resident of Long Beach but yet became a Latin superstar. It's kind of like Jerry Lewis becoming a French superstar.
