    I knew a couple of people at a daily paper in the next county who died in their 40s, one an ME and one an SE.

    As an SE I had 2 stringers pass away suddenly, one in a car wreck and one from health conditions that resulted from a car wreck years before. A former reporter died of the swine flu during that epidemic as well.
