    The story went on to say-

    "He appeared to have been working on the truck at the time of the accident."

    So maybe it was on blocks or jacked up and it fell on him.

    Sounds like the truck fell on him. Said he was working on it at the time the "accident" happened.

    If you are not careful, it is very easy to have a truck slide off a jack and fall. Seen it happen several times. Luckily, I was still jacking the vehicle up each time.
