67? I don't know why but I thought she was older.
Spare the Abe Vigoda cracks. Yes, he's still alive.

Overshadowed by her sister Vanessa but "Georgy Girl" was a damn good film.

Get the song out of my head now please.....

She was a big nudist, IIRC.

I know it sounds ridiculous given her resume, but I remember her most in her role opposite Wayne Rogers in the TV-series adaption of "House Calls." The Post story doesn't mention it, but made the news when she left the show amid a contract dispute, and she claimed she was fired because she insisted on breast-feeding her newborn on the set (IIRC).

I remember her most for those incessant Weight Watchers commercials in the late 1980s, where she held up the dress she wore in "Georgy Girl."

Her brother, Corin, also just died of cancer in early April. Tough few weeks for the family.

I remember watching House Calls as a toddler. Between Dr. Michaels (Rogers), Dr. Solomon (Ray Buktenica), and cranky Dr. Amos Weatherby (David Wayne), I always found Lynn Redgrave to be very attractive.

mpcincal, here is the Wikipedia explanation on how she was whacked:

I didn't know much about Lynn Redgrave's stage or screen career since I didn't watch many of the shows she was in or the episodes of shows she was in.

Thus, my best memory of her is from the Weight Watchers commercials.

Doesn't matter. It's still a life snuffed out too early.

    RIP.

Oy vay, how could I have forgotten Redgrave starring alongside Jackie Mason in the immortal Chicken Soup?

How did we forget that Redgrave was the star of this popular flick:
