    @Spartan Squad thread predates mine. Mods, delete mine.

    The man did so much for San Jose State athletics since he was hired in the early 1980s. Was even tweeting tidbits on the Western Intercollegiate golf tournament later this spring until the end.

    RIP. Did a lot for the Spartans. Met him a handful of times when the Spartans came through Fullerton.

    Looks as if they are finally working on the other side of the stadium.

    Microville Tech will have 3/4 of a stadium this year, as the ld west grandstand was imploded in January and is being rebuilt.

    They did a segment on the project pregame. The structure will eventually be a two-story building with locker rooms for football and men's and women's soccer, offices, meeting rooms, athletes lounge, etc. It was topped off recently and expect to finish construction in time for next season's opener.
