    As someone who first learned to love college football listening to Larry live and die with Dooley's Dawgs in the early 1980s, this is sad news indeed. RIP. :-[

    I'm not a Georgia fan but this is still one of my favorite radio calls of all time, if only for what he says after the :30 mark.



    RIP to one of college football's signature voices.

    RIP to another voice of my youth. I'm sure Larry Munson and Ernie Johnson are in the same circles up there.
