RIP Kenny Rogers (the singer, not the pitcher)

Did I mention there was a Kenny Rogers chicken restaurant next town over? It went bust and a Chinese restaurant moved in. A country music brand went bust in the northern NJ suburbs, go figure.

I kind of liked his chicken place.

 

I'm not sure there's ever been another singer who could tell and sell a story in his songs like Kenny Rogers could.
