    Speaking of which, what exactly do inflattable beavers do with all that spare time? Still more than 2 years to the next Olympic ceremony.

    Samaranch was always a smooth character and had a regal air about him, but it's hard to believe there aren't too many people inside the IOC beltway that aren't corrupt.

    I've stayed up two nights in a row waiting for Kathleen Sullivan or Mary Carillo do a human interest piece by a roaring fireplace just before a later version of the Tonight Show.
