Jerry Stiller, Comedian With Enduring Appeal, Is Dead at 92

Mr. Stiller was in fewer than 30 of the 180 episodes of “Seinfeld,”
whose nine seasons began in 1989, and he did not make his first
appearance until the fifth season. ... But he was an essential part
    of the show’s enduring appeal.

When he could have tested on his laurels for his work with Stiller and Meara.

Awesome as Maury Ballstein in Zoolander.

And his dramatic skills were on display in the classic original "Taking of Pelham 123" as Lt. Rico Patrone.

I met Mr Stiller filming “Hairspray “ and he was a peach - focused and professional, friendly and treated everyone like an equal, no matter how small their roles. We loved him.

I always remember him with his wife, Anne Meara, who were really funny
