RIP: Jerry Reed

    Fred was perhaps the greatest canine thespian in the history of moviedom. I'm sure he's happy to have the Snowman with him again.

    Loved him as Snowman. I also remember him in an episode of Mama's Family. Great guy who created some memorable characters and music.

    I was shocked to read this. My daughter was born that morning and I didn't see any TV for two days.

    It breaks my heart to lose someone who made fun movies like him.

    Smokey and the Bandit was in it's own class, but one of the mosdt fun things I remember about him outside of that was the blooper reel clip of him coming in on Burt Reynolds' "chickin pit commercial taping in the credits roll of "Stroker Ace"

    And then there was S&TB's
    "What's she wearin' now?" ...
    "You got peanut butter in your ears? Tell me what that she's got on .... HER MIND? Ha, ha, ha, ha, 10-4?


    He was a hilarious character.
