Died in a car crash today in Antrim County, Mich., as per the WSJ. I can't link from my BB, but WSJ has story up.

Silly to say very sad. Loved The Last Lecture. Wish I followed what was in there a lot more day to day.

Shit, that sucks. R.I.P. Just shows how fragile life is.

Guy writes the book about a fellow who gets a death-sentence illness, and his coping with it -- and preparing his family, etc. -- hits us as so very tragic.

Then the writer dies suddenly, without a moment to cope or prepare. Different kind of tragic.

Eventually, we all get it one of those ways or the other.

    RIP, Zaslow.
