Victoria Jackson should thank God she had a career that didn't involve pasties and a g-string.

Of those three, Dunn was a distant second to Hooks and Jackson was a distant third. Each had their place, but Hooks was head and shoulders above Dunn and Jackson.

Maybe Hartman's best-ever skit and among Hooks' top five.

In the Shales book, Dunn comes across as the mega-bitch. Universally despised by co-workers.

Victoria Jackson- having a terrible voice does not make one funny.

Hartman had at least 15 or 25 best-ever skits. He was that good.

    True dat.

But I think The Sinatra Group is one of the top three in the history of SNL. The performances were so damn good, but then I also add in how great the idea and the writing was. Everything about it was perfect, right down to Myers and Jackson's Steve and Eydie.

Sting as Billy Idol is the most underrated part of that sketch. If the guest host can't act, it torpedoes the whole operation.

I have to wonder if Sinatra didn't bitch about that skit, considering I think it was one-and-done.

Hartman did Sinatra many times (and several times after that), but it was pretty well known Frank hated it.
