If you've heard of Moore's Law, this was the guy. A real visionary of the future of computing. Way ahead of the curve when it came to more powerful, faster and cheaper electronics. Hard to believe he realized the value of semiconductors and integrated circuits when everybody else was still working with transistors.

Gordon Moore, co-founder and former chairman of Intel, dies at 94

Moore's Law has held up over half a century, which is amazing to this very day.

But an atom is only so wide, so there will be a point of diminishing returns.

“Halt and Catch Fire” might be my favorite TV show and I always wondered if Gordon Clark’s first name wasn’t inspired by Moore.
