The Reaper isn't playing around this month.

 

When a movie has the words "based on a true story" near the opening credits, you know it's going to take a lot of liberties with the truth. For one, I've found "Chariots of Fire" unwatchable after learning of how many liberties were taken with the story.

 

I wonder how many people my age (mid-fitties) lost our innocence about movies to that one.

 

Many years ago I mentioned Herman Boone in a story - I don't remember the context or what the story was about - and I got one of those packets the guy in the linked story sends out. As I recall, it was pretty comprehensive and pretty negative toward Boone.

 

First "Radio", now this guy.

If I'm Billy Dee Williams or the starting five from "Glory Road", I'm looking out for a few weeks.
