True story. I was at a friend's house. We were in fourth grade maybe, and we were playing music. Her mom would not let us listen to Bad Bad Leroy Brown because it said damn in it. Seasons the Sun is, I believe, about a dude overdosing and dying.

True, but Toni Tennille was pretty hot, in a cougar sort of way.

Also, I love 'I've Never Been to Me.'

Earlier, I mentioned how my wife was born in 1988, and “Go Away, Little Girl” was No. 1 on the 1971 show, as mentioned earlier.

Mrs. Corky: “This song is about a lesbian relationship? I’m surprised they had progressive songs like these back then.”
Me: “What? I don’t think so.”
Mrs. Corky: “Isn’t this a woman singing that?”
    Me: “That’s Donny Osmond.”

    She was floored. I laughed.

I really liked "One Fine Morning" and I have the Lighthouse album.

In fairness, Donny was like 13 years old at the time.

    12. Two months shy of turning 13 in December. Can't imagine what "career day" is like for a kid with $1 million in the bank before puberty sets in.
