Sad news about a funny, funny man.

LOS ANGELES - A UCLA Medical Center spokeswoman says actor Harvey Korman has died.
Hospital spokeswoman Roxanne Moster said Korman died Thursday but she released no details.
The Emmy-winning star of such TV programs as "The Carol Burnett Show" and films such as "Blazing Saddles," was 81.

I watched him for years on the Burnett show and he was hilarious on High Anxiety and Blazing Saddles.

Very sad news about a very funny guy.

You will be risking your lives, whilst I will be risking an almost-certain Academy Award nomination for the Best Supporting Actor.

  4. Damn shame. Always loved the interplay between him and Tim Conway. Just watching Korman try to stifle a laugh was worth the price of admission.

There was a reason that whole Burnett cast stayed together for 12 years.

Aww. Damn. I was thinking about him a few weeks ago when Tim Conway did that great guest appearance on "30 Rock."
Warning, true schmaltz ahead, but I can't stop myself:

I'm so glad we had this time together,
Just to have a laugh, and sing a song.
Seems we just got started and before we knew it
Came the time we had to say, 'So long.'
